Description
English: An incomplete copper-alloy object, possibly an awl or similar of Bronze Age or later date.

It is broad and sub square in section. One end is rectangular in section, tapering to a relatively sharp point. The other is cylindrical before narrowing and terminating in old breaks. It has a pitted medium to dark green patina.

This tracer awl measures 50.77mm in length, 6.36mm in width/diameter, 6.11mm in thickness, 6.15g in weight.

There are similar examples recorded on the PAS database (SF-225118), (SF-8E67C8). However, no direct parallels could be found.
