English: Iron awl dating to the medieval period. The awl is circular is section. The awl is whittle tanged, and has a copper alloy handle , which has three copper alloy rivits, and a copper alloy cap, the handle is rectangular in shape. The handle tapers from 9mm at the top to 1.5mm at the tip of the awl. |
