Description
English: Medieval copper alloy key, 67mm long, 22mm wide with a weight of 24.24 grams. The key is in fair condition with a green patina. It consists of a lozenge shaped solid 'handle' which has three circular holes 4mm in diameter. Below this is a hollow, rolled and broken shaft which is 35mm long and 8mm in diameter. At the far end is a oval shaped holllow 8mm high and 12mm wide which protrudes from the handle along the same axis as the shaft.
