Title |
BELL |
||
Description |
English: A fragment of a copper-alloy post medieval crotal bell, probably made by William Gwynn in Aldbourne, dating to the period AD 1770-1813. The fragment measures 35.71mm in length and 39.51mm in width. It is 1.86mm thick and weighs 13.02g. The patina is relatively rough, the colour is dark green with specks of more ligher green. Probably WG maker's mark but the fragment only shows oW[o]. The fragment is decorated with incised lines. |
