Title |
BRACELET |
||
Description |
English: Post Medieval to Modern copper alloy bracelet or necklace links. The links have been stamped out and are dished and oval in plan with eight tabs and two rectangular loops on each. Of these tabs, the four sub rectangular indented ones originally clasped the settings and the four domed ones held them in place. Small ridged rings passed though the loops to connect the links. Two of them have survived in place. The outer faces are concave and would originally have housed settings of some sort. The rears are convex. There is some damage to the edge of the button but it is complete. Probably dates to between c1750 and c2000 AD. The length is 43mm, the width is 13mm, thickness 3mm, and the weight 1.34g. |
