Description |
English: An incomplete cast copper alloy double loop buckle of post medieval date (cAD1550 - 1650). It is an oval buckle, with notched oval knops, one at the outer edge of each hoop.The hoops enclose D shape openings. The frame is D shape in section with a circular section pin bar. There is no other decoration. It is 50.43mm in length, 21.66mm in width and weighs 6.58g. See Whitehead 2003 p62 no373 for similar. |
