English: Armed Forces of the Philippines Soldiers from the 50th Infantry Battalion and U.S. Soldiers from the 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry Regiment, prepare to head out on a foot patrol to their training sites. The field training exercise for the 28th iteration of Exercise Balikatan 2012 started April 16, as U.S military members and the AFP continued to build upon an already enduring friendship. The soldiers will spend the next couple of weeks training in humanitarian and disaster relief recovery operations, combat lifesaving, mortar firing and explosive ordinance disposal along with conducting several civic action projects. |
