JESSE BILLINGS BARTON Late General Attorney of the Baltimore and Ohio Chicago Terminal Railroad Company JESSE BILLINGS BARTON BORN MAY 28, 1850 DIED APRIL 18, 1916 JESSE Billings Barton, General Attorney of the Baltimore andOhio Chicago Terminal Railroad Company, died early Tuesdaymorning, April 18, at his home in Hinsdale, Illinois, as the resultof a sudden stroke of apoplexy. The funeral services were held atGrace Episcopal Church, Hinsdale, on Wednesday afternoon, April19, at 2.30 o^clock, and were conducted by Hinsdale Lodge A. F. &A. M. His widow, formerly Mrs. Lucy E. Bonfield, three childrenand two sisters, survive him. Mr. Barton was born in Demorestville, Ontario, Canada, on May28, 1850, the son of Samuel E. and Philena A. Barton. After hisgraduation from the University of Toronto in 1870, he came to Chicagoand studied law in the office of the late Chief Justice Fuller of theUnited States Supreme Court.
