It is yellowish tanbrown in color, the terminal calyces or madrepores of eachbranch being white. One species of Isopora with turgidbranch terminations was called the Com flower by Albert,our diver. A very fine, profusely branched species was new tome. It grew in great closely aggregated clumps of fine branches,resembling Oculina varicosa; but showing little ca3nenchymabetween the corallites. A large colony of this species makesone of the handsomest cabinet specimens in our collection.
