Title
Biconical lead weight
Description
English: A cast lead weight of long biconical form of possible medieval date. The weight features a central perforation which runs the length of the object. The weight is worn and abraded, particularly at one of the terminals. Bailey (1995, 29) suggests that weights of this form, often found in rural areas, could be net weights used to catch rabbits or birds.
