I had ob-served the cheerful little chap time aftertime in my morning rambles in thewoods, and bad come to know everytwist and motion of the tiny body beforeI caught a glimpse of the longed-for tuft.Finally one morning as he bent his headto pick up some sweet tid-bit the olive-green feathers parted and I saw his tinycrown. A modest genial little anarchisthe is, never parading his opinions beforean admiring public, but suddenly spring-ing down in front of us on some low bushhe flaunts his red flag and is gone beforewe realize it.
