English: This nose art sure covers the history book. Beautiful!!!

Photo is the nose art of an Iowa Air National Guard KC-135E Stratotanker that was retired to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona in 2007, having been assigned to the 185th Air Reserve Wing in Sioux City. Nicknamed "The Patriot", the elaborate nose art features Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, the Space Shuttle launching from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the Iwo Jima flag raising from World War II, and what appears to be the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington DC. This aircraft is serial number 57-1447 (indicating that funds were allocated for its construction in Fiscal Year 1957), and performed the mission of aerial refueling of nuclear bombers, among other aircraft, during the Cold War and subsequent conflicts.
