Hardy Candytuft (Iherxs sempervirens) Iberis (Hardy Candytuft) Delightful little evergreen plants that show up well wherever planted. Many are used in rock-gardens and they make splendid border plants, furnishing closely packed white bloom in spring. Sempervirens. The Hardy Candytuft has many uses in the garden. Snowflake. The 10 to 12-inch plants bloom in both spring and fall. Beautiful yellow flowers. Sambo. Deep blue. Iris Kaempferi (Oriental Iris) These beautiful Iris prefer moist acid soil. An ideal place is around a pool or along the bank of a brook where their roots will not be- come dry. If planted in the border they should be kept well watered.
