English: Rectangular, in the shape of a wooden crate, featuring incised decoration of 2 champagne glasses on front, inscribed "Glass, Keep This Side Up," on top, long side inscribed "Bollinger," on bottom long side, inscribed "Dry Extra Quality," on left side "E. &. J. B., 10.448," on right side incised anchor with "R.B. & C" at center and larger "P." at lower, right-hand corner. Crate has simulated straps wrapped around each end and small incised marks resembling nail-heads on edges of sides. Lid hinged on left side. Striker on underside of box. |
