Bronze Age : Arrowhead
Description
English: An incomplete knapped lithic barbed and tanged arrowhead of Bronze Age date, c.1600 - 800 BC. The arrowhead is formed from a tertiary flake of translucent mid-grey flin which is bifacially worked with covering, low angled removals on all surfaces. It is triangular in plan with two notches in the base between the central tang and a barb to either side. One barb is broken. Possibly Sutton B type.

The arrowhead is 23.8mm long, 18.9mm wide, 3.6mm thick and weighs 1.3g.
