Title
Bronze Age : Chisel
Description
English: A fragment of a small copper-alloy flat axehead in an early Bronze Age style. The axe is possibly a chisel axe used for fine carpentry work, but is could also be votive. The axe has almost parallel edges, with a central spine on both faces, resulting in chamfered edges. The metal is mottled and heavily pitted, it is a mid brownish-green in colour. There are no signs of re-working.
