Description |
English: Fragment, socketed axehead of South-Eastern Class A1 type dating from the Ewart Park phase of the Late Bronze Age (1000-800 BC). The double mouth moulding and part of one side and one face survive. Dark green patina. The internal runner is 17.35mm long. It is 42.45mm long, 22.6mm in depth and it weighs 25g. This fragment does not join, but is likely to be from the same axe as SUSS-218501. |
