Bronze Age scraper
Description
English: A flint "thumbnail" scraper of probable Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date (c. 2700 - 1600 BC). The scraper is struck off a secondary flake and retains c. 50% cortex on the dorsal surface. The scraper exhibits long, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch which runs from the distal end to approximately half-way up each mesal edge. The ventral surface exhibits a low, diffuse bulb of percussion and radiating conchoidal ripple marks.

The flint is dark grey in colour with some light grey repatination.

The scraper measures 19.83mm in length, 23.05mm in width, is 8.37mm thick and weighs 3.99g.
