Bronze Age socketed axe fragment
Description
English: Small fragment from socket of bronze socketed axe. Standard double mouth moulding with part of casting seam and side angle visible. Medium/dark green patina with traces of pale green corrosion products on all faces and breaks. Breaks worn fairly smooth. Surviving length 32 mm, width 16 mm, weight 11.4g.
