Description
English: Complete plain copper alloy socketed axe with single loop. Main socket moulding plus further decorative moulding below. External moulding seam still relatively rough. Crescentric but not extensively re-sharpened, though bears slight ancient edge damage (some modern - caught by machine bucket). Two internal seams. Medium/dark green patina, with corrosive encrustations.

Length 91mm, maximum width (at blade) 45mm.
