A droite et à gauche sont les places réservées au régent et auCongrès. Au-dessus du temple sélèvent des trophées composés dune blousesoutenue par des armes. On lit sur le fronton les noms de Walhem, Berchem,Bruxelles, Lierre, Venloo, etc. (2). Toutes les maisons de la place Royale sontornées de guirlandes et surmontées de bannières aux trois couleurs. « Une foule immense circule du château de Laeken à la place Royale. De touscôtés arrivent des diligences. Les étages des maisons sont garnis de spectateurs. Lajoie se peint sur toutes les figures. - Le soir, toute la ville fut illuminée.
