All are fine for cutting. EACH DOZ Incomparable (Butter and Eggs) Large very double flowers, light yellow and orange, fra- grant, splendid for winter cut flowers or out of doors. ^1.50 per 100 3 Orange Phoenix (Eggs and Bacon) Creamy white and orange, large petals. I1.50 per 100.... 4 Von Sion (First size) The well-known Double_Yellow Daffodil. Large, double, golden yellow, extra fine for forcing or outdoor culture. This is the true double trumpet shaped variety ( Tclauwnius plenus), so largely used for cut'flowers. ^2,00 per 100 4 ;o 30 35 35 POLYANTHUS NARCISSUS (tazetta) The beautiful Polyanthus or bunch-flowered varieties of Narcissus produce many small-crowned flowers, borne in clusters. They are very sweet scented but not as hardy as other kinds. Double Roman. Also called Constantinople. Creamy white, double orange-yellow center: very fragrant and free blooming. This early sort is often forced for winter cut flowers. Bulbs (13 cm. and over) 4 40 Grand Monarque. Broad white perianth, citron cup; fine large trusses 5 50 Paper White Qr^ndiflora. Flowers pure snow white, desirable for their beauty and de- licious odor. This forces admirably and flowers freely in dense clusters; will come into bloom as early as December. i^See cut, page 12) Bulbs (13 cm. and over) 4 40 Polyanthus Fine Mixed. White and citron-yellow polyanthus sorts mixed. ^1.50 per 100.. 3 30 NARCISSUS POETAZ A hardy cluster-flowered class Poeticus-like flowers are borne in clusters like the Polyanthus narcissus. They make desir- able free-blooming plants for growing indoors in pots as well as for outdoor bedding. Elvira. Broad white petals, golden-yellow cup, edged darker shade; strong growing, two or more flowers on a stem. (See cut) 5 cents each; 50 cents per dozen; ^3.50 per 100. Single and dozen prices include postage. The 100 rates are by e.x-press at purchaser's expe)ise. A'ot less tJian six of any one I'arieiy supplied at dozen rates, and not less than 25 at 100 rates. JONQUILS (Narcissus Jonquilla) A slender and graceful species with rather small, bright yellow, deliciously fra- grant flowers, abundantly pro- duced on stems about a foot long, each bearing a cluster of florets. Leaves quill - like, glossy dark green. Well suit- ed for window plants, and most satisfactory outdoors when planted in large groups or masses. Culture same as Nar- cissus. Prices include postage. Single, Yellow, deliciously sweet; florets are about one inch across. 2 cents each; 15 cents per dozen. Campernelle. ( Odor us) Single, large, j^ellow florets, about one and one - half inches across.
