NEW ASTER, QUEEN OF SPRING. ASTER, QUEEN OF SPRING. This distinct new Aster is so named because by start- ing the seed early it can be had in bloom before the calendar months of spring have ended. It resembles somewhat the Queen of the Market Aster, but flowers from tico to three weeks 6or?-/?'er, making it decidedly the earliest of all Asters. Of low dwarf growth, it is sure to prove j valuable for pot culture.as well as for cutting purposes ; the double flowers of good size are pure white in color, borne upon long stems. Per pkt. 15 cts.; 2 pkts. for 25 cts. TRIUMPH ASTER. This distinct novelty forms compact plants only about eight inches high, each covered ^ith large, handsome, perfectly formed flowers of extra beauty. The individual flowers measure from 2J to 3 inches across, and are of the most faultless pseony form, all the petals being beautifully incurved. The color is peculiarly rich and brilliant; when beginning to bloom it is a pure scarlet, but when in full bloom it changes to a magnificent satiny scarlet, pre- senting thus, ^T.th these two brilliant colors, a most lovely sight. The flowers, on account of their weight, bend slighth^ at varying angles, but do not droop so as to impair their beauty, each plant forming a bouquet of itself It comes perfectly true from seed and is the most charming of all dwarf Scarlet Asters in cultivation to-day. Per pkt. 15 cts.; 2 pkts. for 25 cts.

A SINGLE PLANT OF COMET ASTER. NEW COMET ASTERS. The plants of this new tribe are now perfectly tnie in character, growing 12 to 15 inches high, forming fine regular pyramids perfectly covered with large double tioVers, as shown in the illustration. The large perfectly double flowers measure from 3>^ to 43^ inches in diameter, resembling in shape and artistically curved and twisted petals the finest Chinese Chrysanthemums. Comet Aster, Deep Rose, Per pkt. 15 " " Pink, Bordered with White, . 15 This is the original color of the Comet Asters and to our liking the most beautiful of all colors. •* " Bright Light Blue, Bordered with White. A superb novelty, 20 " " Finest Mixed. Of all colors; a superb strain. . . . Per pkt. 15 2 pkts. for 25 cts. NEW, LARGE-FLOWERING, DWARF QUEEN ASTER. First introduced by us from Germany in 1888, this magnificent new Aster has given excellent satisfaction. It is impossible to say too much in praise of this new strain;—again the past season, among all our trials of Asters none could surpass these, while the White Queen was admittedly the best white Aster. The dwarf, bushy plants grow only ten to twelve inches high, and while branching very freely, the branches are upright (not loose in habit), make a dense, compact bush —excellent for pot culture as well as for bedding. The flowers are of extraordinary size, perfectly double, and resemble the finest Victoria Asters in form—excellent for cutting. On a single plant we counted forty flowers and large buds, while many small buds were appearing. White Queen, spotless white, . 15 cts. Crimson Queen, rosy crimson, 15 cts. Dark Blue Queen, . Per pkt. 15 cts. Light Blue Queen, . Per pkt. 15 cts. Finest Mixed, four colors, . . 15 cts. ifi^ Any two packets for 25 cts., or the set of 5 packets for 50 cts.
