If ordered by express deduct ij cts. per poundfroyn prices quoted. NEW GOLDEN MARROW. The best yellow pie piuiiphin. As shown in the illustration, which we have had engraved from a photograph, they are round-oblong in shape, and very slightly ribbed ; the skin is of a rich, golden-orange color, very beautiful; flesh of extra fine flavor ; cooks soft and tender. It is a perfect keeper. Very vigorous in growth and immensely productive. Plant it ! Pkt. locts.; oz. 20 cts.; ^ fi) 60 cts. ; per ft) ^2.00. Jacob Madara, Clayton. N. J,, Sept. 17th, i88r, writes : —The Golden Marrow Pumpkin grown from your seed is the best, both for pies and stock, that I know of. Have tried 15 to 23 varieties of pumpkins, but never had a variety to compare with the Golden Marrow. For market pur- poses, its handsom.e appearance, with its productiveness, would make it the most profitable variety that could be raised, while for my own table use I want no other. Cashaw, or Crookneck. Ver\' productive and of large size; color lig^t cream, sometimes slightly striped with green ; flesh salmon colored. Pkt. 5 cts. ; oz.; 10 cts. ; ft) 25 cts. ; ft> 85 cts. Large Cheese. Shape flat, like a cheese ; hardy and pro- ductive. Pkt. 5 cts.; oz. 10 cts.; ft) 20 cts. ; ft) 65 cts. Lage Common Field. Large yellow ; good for stock feed- ing. Pkt. 5 cts.; oz. 10 cts. : ft) 20 cts. ; ft) 50 cts. ETAMPES MAMMOTH BRIGHT RED. Thisnew variety, first introduced by us, from France, two years ago, has proved a valuable acquisition. It grows round, flattened in shape ; the illustration but poorly represents it. The skin is very smooth, bright glossy red, and presents a most handsome appearance, whether for exhi- bition or on market. It is thick meated; the flesh is very rich in color and of excellent quality. It matures very early and is always the first varict)- to appear on the Paris markets. With good cultivation it attains mammoth weights, but in only ordinary-soil grows to an average size of about two feet in diameter. It is very productive and is undoubtedly a mostprofitable sort to grow. In France, the pastsummer, the writer was most favorably impressed with these Pumpkins, and returning home was glad tofind the good opinion confirmed by all who planted^ seed bought of us last year. Pkt. 10 cts. ; oz. 20 cts. ; ft) 60 cts.; S> S2.00. GENUINE MAMMOTH, or Trrie Potiron. This has roundish, heart-shaped leaves, a short, cylindrical fruit- stem, a permanent, fleshy stile, and fis'e carpels or double rows of seeds. The form of the fruit is an oblate spheroid, depressed at the blossom and stem ends, and marked with ten or more wide meridianalfurrows. It sometimes grows to an immense size, three feet or more in diameter, and one hundred and fifty pounds or more in weight. It has a salmon-colored skin ; flesh bright yellow, fine grained and of excellent quality. Pkt. 10 cts. ; oz. 30 cts. ; ft $i.co ; ft) $3.00.
