Description
English: Mr. Said Darar, chief of climatologic data for Djibouti, shows U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. David Giddens and U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Ricardo Trevino weather forecasting instruments at the Ambouli International Airport in Djibouti, Sept. 5. Giddens, a member of the Washington Air National Guard and native of Jacksonville, Fla., and Trevino, head of Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa's Meteorological and Oceanographic Department and a native of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, were at the airport to install a high-frequency line-of-sight antenna that will allow Djiboutian weather forecasters to receive a steady stream of information from CJTF-HOA's AN/TMQ-53 Tactical Meteorological Observing System.
