| Description |
English: (1 in a multiple picture album) I stood under the shade of a pine tree at Fairview Curve on Trail Ridge Road (CO Hwy 34) and shot this view of the Cache la Poudre Valley below. The name comes from an incident when French trappers had to retreat from marauding Indians. Before they ran, they hid (cached) their powder (Poudre) so they could find it when they came back. |
