PETUNIA, Dwarf Giants J\£ltr DELPHINIUM HYBRIDS GIANTS OF CALIFORNIA After several years of careful field study and selection of the best strains of Delphinium, we planted the group from which this seed was gathered at our Van Xuys Nursery. We do not boast when we say that every one who saw these remarkable flowers exclaimed that they had never seen such Del- phinium at any time anywhere. We have been so gratified in our efforts with these blooms that we are inspired to offer them as one of our specialties. We highly recommend them and know they will bring delight and satisfaction to our customers. Per pkt. 50c; Vz oz. $1.60. J&UT PETUNIA DWARF GIANTS MIXED Reflecting friendship in every blossom these Dwarf Giant Petunias, though hugging the ground (rarely do they grow taller than seven inches), call out to the most casual stroller to stop and make their ac- quaintance while passing by. The flowers are large, often displaying clearly defined markings on the throat. They will bloom all summer long and rival the weed in their ability to grow with almost com- plete lack of care. They love to blossom, and in their own happy mood warn you that jollity and color must have their fling. The habit of sturdy growth of Dwarf Giant Petunia identifies it as a first class pot plant. Per pkt. 50c; 1/64 oz. $2.25. J\&U~ EARLY GIANT IMPERIAL STOCK MIXED This variety has "followed through" so well in the field that we are Inspired to mention it here. We have watched these fine looking plants develop healthy-appearing stalks. We have observed them bear an exceedingly abundant number of large double flowers, thereby gaining distinction for themselves as a cut flower. Because of this splendid record and because this variety of Stocks promises to win many friends in the future we are offering this mixture in pink, red. copper and lavender. Look for it to supersede all others. Per pkt. 25c; l/s oz. 60c. JAZur LARKSPUR ROSAMOND STOCK FLOWERED Rosamond is a pure rose color, a shade which has been entirely lacking in larkspur up to this time. A variety that does not fade and has been placed very high by the judges of the 1934 novelties. Per pkt. 35c. >JVew~ LARKSPUR LOSANGELESIMPROVED IMPERIAL TYPE This is a new and distinctly improved type of annual Larkspur. Nearer the Delphinium type than anything yet introduced. The color is brilliant salmon rose. The spikes are slender and grace- ful, adding body to the plant with a profusion of blooms. This variety of Larkspur is excellently suited for cut- ting.
