Dent was a man past the half century. He mighthave been sixty. He was well groomed, and dressed as be-came a man of means. Fairly well. How are you? I see you have a crowdhere tonight. Yes, but I have something choice for you. A lovelygirl, fresh from the country. Shes as innocent and astender as a chicken. I hardly think I should introduce herto you. Some of my girls tell me you are very exacting. He laughed heartily. Well, Sadie, addressing her by her first name, theyall seem very well satisfied, when I leave them. Yes, you old sport, they all say youre game. Come, let us see her. You know I dont like to be seenstanding here. Well now youll promise me you wont be too rough
