CHRISTMAS window display of J. M cTaggart & Sons, Vancouver, B.C., andwinner of the first prize in Canadian Grocer Christmas window contest,Class A, cities of over ten thousand population. This is a very unusual window display and its very simplicity and splendidselling points were factors that the judges considered in deciding to award thiswindow the first prize. This is a bulk display of walnuts and hampers filled with oranges, apples,packages of table raisins and boxes of chocolates. The idea of the hampers isa comparatively new one and no doubt proved a real feature in stimulating saleson Christmas lines. The neat show cards were made by one of the members ofthe staff.
