Description
English: A copper-alloy casket key of Medieval date.

The bow is lozenge shaped with a prominent raised collar adjacent to it. The stem is of sub-circular cross section. The bit, set at the base of the stem, is flat with a cleft at the front edge. The key measures 36mm long, 8.5mm wide at the bow end and is 5.1m thick on its stem. The weight is 2.8g.
