Casket key (locking)
Description
English: A complete copper-alloy casket key. Measuring 36mm in length. This key has a circular bow measuring 14mm in external diameter and 8mm in internal diameter. The stem of this key is hollow and has an oval cross-section, it is 6mm in width and 4mm in thickness. The bit has two central opposing clefts.

This casket key is most likely to be medieval in date.
