Description
English: Cast copper alloy casket key dating to the Medieval period, (1100-1500). The object consists of a plain circular bow, a hollow stem and a simple bit. The bit has two clefts on either side creating a long ward. The object has a dark green patina and is in good condition. A similar key can be found in Cuddeford, (1994), p32, no.7.
