The projectingmuzzle is much less notable in the young than inthe adult 0., aud the asjiect of the adult males iafurther rendered hideous l)y great callosities on thecheeks. In the adult state, the ridges of the skidlalso greatly increase in thickness and prominence. The 0. is about threefeet in length from the heel to the crown of thehead. It is covered with brownish-red hair, which,on the back and arms, is hve or six inches long, butvery sliort on the backs of the hands and feet. There is little hair on the face, and none on thepalms of the hands.
