These new strains and varieties of Begonia Eex are of our own origin, and they far excel any that have previously been in cultivation. The colors and markings of the leaves are exceedingly varied and rich, particularly those of the Fireflush type. We regret that cuts cannot show the splen- did tints and variegations of the leaves. New' T^beroas-Rooted Rex. A decided Novelty, which originated on our place. In foli- age and growth it in no respect differs materially from the common B. Bex, but the crown or base forms a tuber after the style of B. Weltoniensis, which may be dried off and kept in that state like common Tuberous-Rooted Begonias, and when replanted will start at once a strong growth of beautiful foliage. Hal.it dwarf and hushv, leaves numerous and of great beauty in shape and design. Helen Could—Leaves numerous ami beautiful. Center brown-red with large silvery zone. Thedentated border is dark purple. Charity—Numerous light green leaves thickly spotted silver, dark center and silvery zone. Loaves at times beautiful- ly tinted yellow; unlike any other. Fine Plants, 30c. each; the two for 50c. Seed—Fine mixed seed of a great variety of Tuberous-Boot- ed Bex Hybrids. Will produce magnificent sorts. 20c. per pkt.: 3 pkts. for 50c. Newest and Finest B. Rex* (Plants*) Ostrich Plume—Leaves very numerous, of a rich green- black color covered with fine siiky red hairs. The ribs and veins are a light yellowish color, the whole niak- _ a striking contrast, and beautiful beyond description. The finest of our new hairy or Ostrich Piume strain. Crimson Clow—Magnificent large leaves, the center half of which is a rich metallic crimson, which graduates into a wide zone of light green with lace-like veins, the rim of the leaf having a distinct border of the same metallic crimson as the center. Most charming variety yet offered. Midnight—Elegant leaves almost black in color, variegated with large pink blotches, the whole having a line irri- descent glow. A greatly improved Louise Classon. Fireflush—Most beautiful of all. Immense leaf, silvery col- ored, bordered dark purplish green and with a rich dark center. The whole leaf is flushed with crimson pink. Storm Cloud— Rich dark color, being a sort of blackish green with purple luster, and large, moon-like pure sil- ver spots. Splendid. SOc. each ; the 5 for $1.00. Xe\V gcooi^ia Rex of 1902 These arc all seedlings of our own raising offered in 1902 for the first time. Cigantea—Lai ^«> leaf with bright green center surrounded by a broad zone of shining silver. Border is of light green heavily dotted and splashed. King Edward—Ground color purple, overlaid with silver. Center of leaf solid silver. Monster—Leaf 2H feet across. Color pure silver, veined with dark green. Maple Leaved— Leaves serrated and cut like those of the Norway Maple. Center dark purple surrounded by a zone of silver, bordered brownish red. Crested Gem—Leaves beautifully crested and crinkled. heart-shaped, purplish silver with dark green center and edges. 20c. each ; the 5 for 90c,
