Description
English: A south view from Eighth and Clark streets of a few boats on Chouteau's Pond. Some architecture can be seen on the other side of the pond which includes the octagonal roof of the Missouri Medical College and the tower of Kemper College, and a few clouds are in the sky. The picture is framed in the lower-left corner by a tree. "T.M. Easterly Daguerrean" is inscribed along the bottom edge, as well as "Chouteau's Pond." Along the right edge "Easterly Artist" is engraved.
