Description
English: The wooden structure was demolished in 1872 to make way for the rest of the renovations completed in 1876 when Christ’s Church was appointed the cathedral for the Anglican Diocese of Niagara. The chancel was extended in 1925 to a design by William Palmer Witton as part of their 50th anniversary celebrations.

It was recognized as one of Canada’s historic places in 1992.
