WILLIAM MORGANS DAUGHTER. When seized by the Masons in Sep-tember, 1826, Captain Morgan had twochildren, a girl and a boy, the latter be-ing only an infant in the arms of hisyoung and shrinking wife. The inquirywhich naturally rose for these remainingmembers of the family with the revival ofthe lodge discussion was hardly answeredto the satisfaction of all. It was under-stood that Mrs. Morgan married again,and that one of the children was living inOregon. Soon after the Batavia conven-tion it was reported that the daughter,Lucinda Smith Morgan, died near Sa-lem, in that State. Through the kindness of Mrs. SarahK. Stevens, of Batavia, N.
