Description
English: Appeal to Reverend King for a monetary gift to aid in the continuation of the services of the Western Sanitary Commission. Recounts the good things that the Commission has already done and the reason for its exhausted treasury, and includes notes of Stanton, Halleck, Schofield, Grant, and Curtis that affirm the good standing of the Commission.
