Participants also competed in a Army Physical Fitness Test, soldier common tasks’ event lanes, and a question and answer board to determine which soldier and NCO would earn the right to call themselves the best for the 1st Quarter of 2014. Ledford hails from Clemson, S.C., and serves with 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, as an infantryman.
