Title
Clipped silver siliqua House of Theodosius VOT V MVLT X rev
Description
English: Clipped silver siliqua (possibly a contemporary copy) of the House of Theodosius, probably AD 379-83, VOT V MVLT X, probably Trier. RIC IX cf. 59a/b; Hoxne cf. 458-9. The mintmark appears to be -//[T]RPS for Trier. The style of the coin appears from consultation with the Hoxne Hoard to be closer to Trier than Milan. It is therefore a rare coin.
