Description
English: Clock in shape of a crucifix with horizontal movement has gilt brass plates and all wheels are made of iron. Pillars are of brass, integral with bottom plate. Locking plate hour-strike on bell in base. Verge escapement with hog's bristle regulation and stackfeed. Balance wheel and cock are later replacements. Time is shown by rotating ball above cross. Duration 12 hours. Two female figures stand beside cross and skull and crossed bones are at foot of cross. Case side is pierced below base of cross around bell. Cross and base are chased in floral motif.
