yr. Lords!, bath received it &therefore I beg a line or two from you by the next post. By Satturduy postNovemr his younge Lords?, received a letter, alt the reading whereof hewas observed to be mueh diseomposed.The letter which Lady Wilbraham enclosed to her son-indaw was dated Novbev ye 21 ami signed Lyonell Huntingtower, but the ladys name doesnot appear. The late Lady Huntingtower writes that he married soon after, in1706, and against his fathers consent, Henrietta Cavendish, illegitimate daughter ofthe Duke of Devonshire, and died in 1712. 1 Weston Tar. Eeg. The entry of the marriage is as follows:—Mr. RichardNewport of Eyton in the parish of Roxeter in tlie county of Salop Esq. and M.Mary Wilbraham of this parish were marryed upon the 20xb day of Aprill AnnoDom : 1681. 2 Ibid. 3 This manor was granted by the Crown to Richard Wilbraham Esq., Masterof the Jewels to Philip and Mary, Sir Thomass ancestor, in June 1557 (Tat. Loil,3 ,V i Ph. & Mary, Part «J, No. 914, m, 21).

Weston-tjkdepv-lizard, in the county of staffoud. 145 advowson of the church of Weston, and a moiety of that ofBlymhill (as also the manor of Newton and lands in Newton,Blithfield, Heywood and Little Onn, if Dame Elizabeth shouldnot have otherwise disposed of them before her death), and alsothe manor of Walsall, the advowson of the vicarage of Walsall,with certain messuages, lands and hereditaments in Great Bloxwich,Little Bloxwich, Harden, Goscot, Shelfield and Caldmore.1 By his will, which is dated 20 Feb. 1684, Sir ThomasWilbrahani left a sum of £10 per annum, charged on certainlands at Bqbbington, for the purpose of apprenticing poor boysfrom the parishes of Weston and Blymhill to some handicraft,trade or husbandry ; the lord of the manor of Weston to nominate,elect and make choice of the said boys, and to set them apprenticeto such masters and trades and employments, and for such limeami in such manner, as to him
