Photograph of the construction site of the Imperial Canal head gate apron on the Colorado River, Sharps, ca.1903. Wood forms, scaffolds, wood frames, cranes and ladders make the work area quite busy. A generator sits in a crude corrugated metal shelter at bottom right. About 15 men are working at various things. Several buildings are visible in the distant background.
