Staunton River State Park

"Walking the River Bank Trail at Stuanton River I came upon this drift wood log and no doubt it looked just like the Chinese dragon you see in parades. From his flaring nostrils to his large resonant eyes and neck collar you can imagine on the mythical creature he caught my attention. Chinese culture says they are benevolent symbols and they can summon rain for people during a drought. He will bring more rain for us so the park can enjoy open fires again. Perfect symbolism on a beautiful day."
