Title
Copper-alloy ear ring of unknown date
Description
English: A copper-alloy object of uncertain date, probably an ear ring. The object is made from a single length of copper-alloy wire, twisted along its length and then formed into two circles, one 19.3mm in diameter and one 5.8mm in diameter, by twisting and then soldering the two ends together at the base of the larger loop. There is a small copper-alloy, ring through the smaller loop with some iron corrosion staining. The object was found in association with Roman objects but may date from this period or much later into the post-medieval period.
