Description
English:

A post-medieval, circular wire loop with the ends twisted together to secure them. These simple wire loops are known to be attachment loops for clothing and were in use before 1545. Examples were found on the ship the Mary Rose which sank in 1545. The examples found are now exhibited in the Mary Rose museum in Portsmouth.
