English: A vase filled with fruit at center towards which two kneeling, confronted maidens reach. They are dressed in flowing classical robes. A stylized Ionic column marks the horizontal repeat. A fabric is draped from the volutes between the two columns. The fabric, trimmed with a Greek key motif with anthemia in the corner, is printed in grisaille with light olive green highlights. A floral garland runs along the top edge while a cable twist runs along the bottom. Printed in grisaille with yellow and ocher. |
