Figure No. 15 shows the various conditions we find in connec-tion with the different classes of pulp operations. Figure No. 16 shows the procedure where a tooth has had aformer imperfect canal operation, but which has no periapicalnecrosis. In Figure No. 17 is shown the steps employed in the case of anon vital pulp which is gangerous or suppurating. In Figure No. 18 we find the steps used where we find a nonvital pulp which is not infected. Figure No. 19 shows a procedure employed in removing avital pulp. Figure No. 20 shows some of the probable causes of infectedpulpless teeth. Figure 21 shows some of the ways to prevent the infection. In Figure No. 22 is shown a necrotic condition over tne cuspidand our duty is not fulfilled if we simply perform a root canal opera-tion and leave such a condition in the patients jaws.
