Weiter entfernt weitet er sich aber zur Blase aus, von welcher kopfwärts der Urachus s. st. als enger Kanal, der sich allmählich schließt, zur extraembryonal gelegenen Allantois zieht.

Anfänglich Abfuhrkanäle der Urniere (Mesonephros), solange diese als Harnorgan funktioniert, geht später aus ihrem Endstück der Nieren gang hervor: die erste Anlage also des s))äteren Ureter und der bleibenden Niere (Metanephros).
