Français : *Figure 1. Barrils de différentes jauges, tant ceux qu'on nomme Caques, que les grands qu'on nomment Romains; les uns ont plus de cerceaux que les autres, & quelques-uns en sont entièrement couverts, ce qu'on nomme reliés en plein ou les ports doubles. A, barril où les Harengs sont paqués en vrak; en L, ils sont paqués en rose: on voit en K les marques imprimées au feu sur le fond des barrils, (pag. 396).
  • Figure 2. Est une façon particulière de brailler les Harengs; on les met avec du sel dans une auge A , où après les avoir remués avec le sel, on les fait couler dans des corbeilles à claire-voie D ou H; le sel qui ne tient point au Poisson tombe dans le baquet E, ( pag. 401).
  • Figure 3. Est l'atelier des Tonneliers; les uns B mettent les fonds; d'autres A les sautent; d'autres E les marquent au feu; d'autres C les arrangent, de façon qu'on puisse les houiller commodément, ( pag. 396, 398).
